New Year’s Break 2013
Our New Year’s break is for two or three nights, arriving on Sunday 30th for the three night stay and 31st December for the two, departing after breakfast on Thursday 2nd January.
We’ll get you settled in and introduced to the team. Many of you will already know Richard, Chloe and myself from stays here over the years and we’ll introduce you to some great new members of the team.
30th December
We start the evening with a hosted wine and cheese tasting with over ten cheeses from around the area and a selection of wines to match. It’s an ideal time to meet some of the other guests and locals. We promise not to ruin your appetite as a Five Course Dinner in the restaurant will follow.
New Year’s Eve
After breakfast why not take a drive to Cheltenham, Upton St Leonards or Winchcombe and see some of the wonderful sights in the area (we have a list of places to visit or walks to do in each place) Why not pop in to one of our other properties in the Hatton Collection for some lunch? Later in the afternoon, come back and relax in front of the fire with your favourite drink.
Pink Champagne will be served prior to dinner, giving you all the opportunity to meet each other for those who have just joined us.
New Year’s Eve Dinner A black tie is appropriate for our six course gourmet dinner. British favourites will be the theme. More champagne, I’m afraid, at Midnight to see in 2014!
There will be dancing until late and for those that can manage it, crispy bacon rolls when the evening starts drawing to a close
New Years Day
Breakfast is served until 10am in the restaurant. You can then relax in our lounge, playing some of our board games in front of a roaring fire or perhaps you’d like to get out and brave the British weather on the 1st January….
Cheltenham Races Feeling lucky? How about a day at the races? The New Years Day Meeting is a must for enthusiasts or newcomers alike. We will organise tickets with our complements.*
Westonbirt National Arboretum If you prefer to go for a head clearing walk, we’ve got wellies and umbrellas. We will organise refreshments including packed lunches and hot drinks for your walk
New Year’s Day Dinner is a much more relaxed and casual affair with a Champagne Cocktail to start the evening. The three course dinner will be finished with coffee and chocolate truffles. An ideal way to start 2014

We will require a 20% deposit payable upon booking and final balance is required by 30th September, this is non-refundable for bookings cancelled after the 30th September.
